BioScan SRT Testing

What is BioScan SRT Testing?

BioScan SRT Testing or Electrodermal testing, also known as electroacupuncture according to Voll (EAV) or bioresonance testing, traces its origins back to the mid-20th century. The German physician Dr. Reinhold Voll developed the concept of measuring electrical conductivity at acupuncture points as a means of assessing health and diagnosing conditions. Voll believed that disturbances in the body’s energy flow, or “bioenergetic field,” could be detected and treated using electrodermal testing devices. Over time, variations of electrodermal testing devices emerged, ranging from simple galvanometers to more sophisticated computerized systems used to detect imbalances, allergies, and other health issues through skin conductivity measurements.

BioScan SRT testing is a form of electrodermal biofeedback testing derived from Voll’s discovery. It uses a small electrical current to measure the body’s response to different irritants or stressors. The testing process involves placing a small electrode on the skin which passes a small electric current through the body. The body’s response to the current is measured and recorded, providing information about areas of weakness, stress or balance in the patient’s body by comparing the measurements to a vast database of symptom-causing stressors. The results of the test are used to identify potential health issues and provide guidance for creating treatment plans. It is a non-invasive and safe method to get a comprehensive view of the patient’s health and wellness. This technology also allows for remote testing and appointments, as it can be used on as little as a sample of the patient’s hair.

How does Ananta Health use BioScan SRT Technology?

At Ananta Health, Dr. Risk uses the BioScan SRT technology as a diagnostic tool. It is a tool used to emphasize a holistic approach to treatment by focusing on treating the patient as a whole rather than just specific symptoms or illnesses they may present. The results from this testing provide information about areas of weakness, stress, and imbalance in the patient’s body and energy systems, as well as provide a guide for Dr. Risk to follow for the selection of natural remedies such as herbssupplements, and lifestyle changes to help restore balance and promote healing. This means of testing can be used in conjunction with other diagnostic tests and medical history to create a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s health.

The testing process includes a 100-point assessment to test body systems, screening for external pathogens and toxicity (such as heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, Lyme diseaseparasites and candida) as well as different food and environmental allergies and sensitivities. The testing concludes by identifying specific supplements and herbs that will help correct inflammation present in the patient’s body.

It is important to note that the results and testing are the same whether the patient comes to the clinic in-person or provides a hair sample for testing through our distant/remote appointment program. Also, it is worth mentioning that the results are specific to each individual, so it is not uncommon for two patients suffering with the same condition to be given a completely different treatment plans.

BioScan SRT Testing: Remote/Distant Program

BioScan SRT testing can also be performed on patients who are not able to visit the clinic for appointments. In this case, the patient provides a small sample of hair by mail for our clinic to test and Dr. Risk shares her recommendations and findings with patients over the phone. Results and documentation are made available for patients through a secure online platform.

Hair samples are tested with the exact same technology that patients are tested with in-clinic, making the BioScan SRT testing a convenient option for those who are unable to visit us in-person.
